The Apprentices Act, 1961 is an Indian law that regulates structured, on-the-job training across industries. It requires eligible companies to engage apprentices for helping them bridge skill gaps between education and employment while classifying participants strictly as trainees rather than permanent employees.

The candidate is not entitled to seek an employment with Kotak Mahindra Bank if he/she is unable to complete the Program successfully and the enrolment letter stands withdrawn.

Further, the Bank is not liable for any fees paid for the course to Manipal Academy of BFSI, Bengaluru or any other expenses incurred by the candidate for the Program.

The classes will be held for 8 hours each day. The classes will be held 6 days a week.

The certificate will be issued upon successful completion and clearance of all phases of the Program.

The student may be posted at any branch/office of Kotak Mahindra Bank across India. While preference of candidates may be asked, there is no guarantee that the same will be provided at the time of posting. Posting shall be based on available vacancies across India.

Candidates are provided a health insurance coverage for the program duration (12 months) for a sum up to INR 1 Lakh.

The role offered will be a Sales role that will constitute of selling banking & financial products to the bank’s existing & new customers.

The selection process would involve the following steps

• Online Registration
• Online Assessment
• Personal Interview

Kotak Mahindra Bank can modify the selection process without any prior intimation.

The PGDRB certificate will be issued on the successful completion of the Program which means that the candidate needs to:

• Successfully complete the 4-Month classroom program
• Fulfil other academic requirements as specified in the curriculum. These will include practical training, work visits, seminars, project submissions etc.
• Successfully complete the 2 months of Internship.
• Satisfactory performance during 6 months of OJT.

There would not be any targets during the Classroom Program at and Internship. However during the On-The-Job Training (7-12 months), there will be real-time exposure and step-up targets assigned to NextGen Bankers to align them towards the role of a Deputy Manager.

On successful completion of the One Year Kotak SKY Premium Bankers Program, candidates will be awarded a Post Graduate Diploma in Relationship Banking (PGDRB) by Manipal Academy of Higher Education (MAHE).

Candidates will be provided with relevant contacts of banks in order to procure the loans for funding the program. Further, the loan shall be provided at the sole discretion of the Financial Intermediary/Bank concerned.

Yes, candidates may self-fund their program without availing to any loan facility.
